Here’s my weekly meal plan for the week of July 15th to 21st full of balanced meals and simple recipes!
Another Friday, another weekly meal plan. It’s crazy to me how quickly these Fridays roll around. I feel like I just made the post for last week and here we are again.
I won’t waste your time and make you read a bunch before I share the recipes for next week. So, if this is your first weekly meal plan and you want to learn more about them, you can check out this post where I share a little bit more about my plan for them. You can also check out this post for more about meal planning in general.
Now that you’re all caught up, let’s just get into it. Here’s next week’s meal plan.
Weekly Meal Plan Full of Balanced Meals & Simple Recipes
monday:
Baked Caprese Chicken. I love all things caprese salads and bruschetta. So this chicken skillet looked like it was right up my alley. It looks so fresh and summery, and I’m so excited to try it. I tried another recipe like this a while ago and it wasn’t the best. But this one looks a lot better, so let’s hope that’s true! I’ll probably serve it with some breaded zucchini (I’ll share how I make these soon!) and some type of potato. PREP TIME: 15 min. | COOK TIME: 25 min.
tuesday:
Steak Fajitas. As always, we have to have a Mexican dish on Tuesday. They aren’t tacos, but it’ll do. I’ll make some rice to go with them and also serve them with some fajita shells. PREP TIME: 20 min. | COOK TIME: 30 min.
wednesday:
Tomato Spinach Shrimp Pasta. Since we’ll already have some cherry tomatoes (or grape if you call them that like the recipes haha), for the caprese chicken, I thought this recipe would be perfect to have this week as well. It also looks so delicious and summery. I’ll probably serve some type of salad with it as well. PREP TIME: 10 min. | COOK TIME: 20 min.
thursday:
Ranch Pork Chops and Potatoes Sheet Pan. This seemed like a simple but still yummy dinner. It would be perfect if you have a busy night because it only requires 5 minutes of prep time. At least according to the recipe. Sometimes it takes me so much longer to prep recipes than what it says. Either they lie or I’m just slow haha. Since this already has potatoes, I’ll just have some of the leftover salad from Wednesday night with it as well. PREP TIME: 5 min. | COOK TIME: 30 min.
friday:
As always, today will be a left over/ take out/ eating out day. So go on a date night, order some food in, or use up the leftovers in your fridge from the past few days! And enjoy your night off from cooking 😉
saturday:
Garlic Butter Steak Bites. I’ve made these several times and we always love them. We had steak bites as one of the main dishes at our wedding, so I feel like making them brings back some sweet wedding memories too. They’re also so easy to make and take no time at all. I’m going to make these with baked potatoes and asparagus. PREP TIME: 10 min. | COOK TIME: 10 min.
SUNDAY:
Coney Dogs. On Sundays we have dinner with both of our parents, so I always make something simple. This week I’m going to make coney dogs. I’m also going to make the buns myself too with this recipe.
Grocery List
Let me know if you try any of these recipes! If you found this meal plan helpful, share it with someone else who could benefit from it. And be sure to come back next week for the next one 🙂
