The Ultimate Gift Guide for the Homemaker

Christmas is just around the corner and it’s time to start shopping for the perfect gifts. If you’re unsure of what to get someone, here is the ultimate gift guide for the homemaker in your life.

Welcome to my second gift guide of 2022. If you missed the first one, click here to see the gifts I recommend for the naturally-minded woman. In this one, I’m going to share what I think are some of the best gifts to get the homemaker in your life. This woman loves to cook, bake, take care of her family, and make her home a beautiful and cozy place to live. Most importantly, she knows that the work she’s doing at home is making an eternal difference for her family and for the world around her.

The Ultimate Gift Guide for the Homemaker

Kitchen Aid Mixer

In my opinion, this may be one of the best gifts you could get the homemaker in your life. I’m pretty sure everyone wants one. I think this is because they’re so versatile. You can mix dough, make pasta, grind meat, mill flour, make ice cream, and so much more. They are the one kitchen appliance that everyone needs because they really can do pretty much everything.

Air Fryer

Similar to the mixer, I think this kitchen item is also so versatile. They really add a good crispiness to your food and leftovers, and they’re a lot better than using a microwave to heat up your food.

Instant pot

The Instant Pot recently became something that I’ve put on my list to buy now that I cook more and make a lot of stuff from scratch. These are great for making soups, but you can also make homemade yogurt in them which sounds fantastic.

Cast Iron Dutch Oven

A dutch oven is a great gift for anyone who makes a lot of soups and/or bakes a lot of bread. I have this one from Lodge and use it every time I make my sourdough bread. It’s also the perfect size to make a big batch of chili or chicken tortilla soup.

Espresso Machine

This one is a little bit of an investment. But a good latte is not cheap, so being able to make one at home will make this machine pay for itself.

Essential Oils & a Diffuser

If the homemaker in your life is into natural remedies and low-toxic living, you can’t go wrong with essential oils or diffusers. She can use them for practical reasons like the health and wellness of her family and home, or she can simply use them to make her house smell nice and welcoming.

Homemaking books & Cookbooks

I finished off my last gift guide with book recommendations for gifts, so it only seemed fitting that I do the same with this post as well. The job of being a homemaker can very easily become mundane and overlooked. She needs books like these that remind her of the eternal work she’s doing and make those mundane tasks more fun and enjoyable.
